Insert: Topshop 'Mom Jeans'

The model for Topshop most definitely wears them better than I do, but in the interests of fashion (and comfort...mostly comfort) I've been rocking the 'mom' jeans since early November. And, although their guest appearence on this blog was deleted shortly after it was announced, I thought I'd bring them back in this little insert as Topshop have announced their formal Spring Preview and their version of my Levi's are soon to go down a storm I'm sure...

Cute, comfortable, versatile and they make your bum look amazing (don't take notice of these terrible photo's!)...so, what's not to love?!

Trending: Midi Dresses

As soon as I eventually get round to creating The List for Spring 2013 this is one item that will definitely be gracing the page: the midi dress. Yes it's back from the S/S12 ladies! 

As we are in that awkward transition from Winter to Spring right now (does anyone else have a hard time giving up the scarves?!) a lot of the midi's that are on the high street are long sleeved which is perfect for the fluctuating temperature's and the cold blooded amongst us. 

Most available are simple, block colours as the motto for day is certainly "less is more", however for night time dress yours up with the fur collar you haven't quite put away yet or some statement jewellery. Collars are still huge in S/S13 so be prepared to adorn your necks once more, and remember that with Spring on it's way you may want to think about lighter tones for the dress as black doesn't always scream "SUNSHINE!"
