iii. Books I'm currently reading for the English side of my degree: Trumpet, Oroonoko, The Restoration Comedies, Roxana, Gullivers Travels, Empire Writing. If you're interested in true life reads then check out Trumpet for a great fictional account based on the life of Billy Tipton (a male Jazz musician who was discovered to be a woman at death). If you're in for some bawdy comedy however, the restoration comedies are hilarious- who knew 17th century ladies and gents were doing so much bed- hopping?!

iiii. The ELF nude nail colour that I got ALOT of compliments on this month.
Although hit and miss, when the ELF nail polishes are true to form they are great for me as they don't budge even when I'm at work and spraying perfume continously; other brands including Chanel and Dior rub off at the first spray due to the condensed alcohol in the fragrances.

v. Alongside the stack from Uni, I'm loving reading Peter Pan by J. M Barrie.
Peter Pan is my favourite Disney film, and reading the real story is like rediscovering my Childhood imagination. I know Cath Kidston does a copy of this story also, so if you're looking for any gift ideas for Valentines I completely recommend this book!

vi. As part of my ploy to put on weight I've stocked up on the ever so nutritious complan; it not only tastes amazing when added to hot milk but it has loads of vitamins and minerals in so I'm going to be one healthy lady.

My Closet: Vintage Cardigan

Another vintage steal from the Clothes Show Live was this cream cardigan.
The same as my levi's it was a complete bargain at only £15 from a vintage stall and I've been living in it ever since! It is hand knitted, and amazingly thick which is just what I want with the brisk winds that we've been having recently. It is a slightly yellow/cream colour which is a bit of a pain to add to my typical monochrome outfits, but I've been making it work with jeans and bold prints or colours underneath. Nothing says Christmas more than a Grandad cardigan!

Trending: The Cosmos!

It started with leggings and now cosmic print is starting to seep into the high street in all shapes and forms!

The print can be a bit daring so I would advise pairing it with other pieces not so daring, perhaps colour block or monochrome: thus making your statement piece your cosmos.

One shop that is loving the print is Topshop with all sorts of tees, skirts and leggings on offer; but search the high street for a piece that suits your shape and colouring as now the monochrome stars aren't the only ones on offer...
Prices: 1. Purple cosmic print tube skirt £28.00, 2. Orange pleated galaxy skirt £15.00, 3. Pink space print midi tube dress £25.00, 4. Dress £59.99, 5. Cosmic tee by Tee and Cake £25.00, 6. Black galaxy print leggings, 7. Te Amo pink galaxy print blazer £24.99

Availability: 1. Topshop, 2. Dorothy Perkins, 3. River Island, 4. H&M, 5. Topshop, 6. New Look, 7. New Look

My Closet: Primark Dress

[Dress £10 available from Primark stores]

The latest addition to my wardrobe is thanks to Primark surprisingly.
Whenever I shop in Primark these days it feels like a bit of a chore, I have to really search the shop to find the few decent items amongst all of the low quality stuff. However, this dress is one of those great items that I fell in love with once I'd finished checking out the seams and material for longevity (yes, I've turned into your Grandmother).
Its the perfect length to wear with chunky boots for the winter as it skims my calves so I don't look too drowned in material and I think it's going to serve me well into the next season too. When Spring hits I plan to lose my boyfriend-esque chunky knits and boots and team it with lighter cardys and flats. The colour is also perfect, its inoffensive and completely on trend with the metallic/ gothic vibe that's in this season.
And at £10 my purse isn't screaming at me!
